At Resource Realty you keep 90% of every commission from your first deal. Once you have paid $15,000 into the company, you keep 100% for the rest of your year.
How the split works
Most brokerages start new agents at 70/30, move them to 80/20, and only reach 90/10 once they sell enough. A lot of agents never get there.
Here you start at 90/10. Your 10% counts toward a $15,000 cap, and once you reach it you keep 100% of every commission for the rest of your year.
Why we can pay you more
Della opened Resource Realty in 2019. She keeps the overhead low on purpose. There is no 10,000 square foot building for your split to pay for.
The brokerage leases one suite with two conference rooms, a large kitchen, and a front desk, and Della pays for all of it. The money that is not spent on a big building goes to the agents.
Besides the split
What you get when you hang your license here
- A full-time broker. There are no broker hours. If you are in a bidding war at 10:30 at night and need a contract signed by morning, Della gets it signed.
- A broker down the hall. Della is at the office every day, so you can walk in with a file and ask about it.
- One-on-one training. New agents learn the purchase contract, when an addendum is needed and why, and what a complete file looks like.
- A path to your broker's license. Resource Realty has two executive brokers, and Della helps any agent who wants to become one.
- Residential and commercial. You can sell both under one license, which many brokerages do not allow.
- Remote work. Send your file by email and the money goes into your account. Della asks remote agents to meet about once a month.
